News Update

Hello everyone! Lakeside would like to thank West Oneida Baptist and House of The Lord for having us out for service this past Sunday Nov. 4th. We had two great Spirit-Filled services. Feel free to cruise throughout our website and see where we will be playing next!

LakeSide’s Fourth Annual Singing

On February 24, LakeSide Hosted their Fourth Annual Singing with the Diplomats and Paul Williams & Victory Trio. For openers we had the Paul Family and Rocky Flatts for the Preconcert and they both were great and Diplomats and Paul were as great as usual. It was a wonderful night and I hope many of you were there and such a great spirit. On 2/24/12, We did it again and we featured The Singing Cookes, Roarks, and Gibsons and we were really blessed with a great Preconcert with The Watson Brothers Quartet, and the Singing Hambys (even though they had a flat!!). It was an awesome night, and I believe this year’s singing was one of the best we ever had!! I want to thank each and everyone that came and I hope you were blessed and please give me some feedback on what you liked and what you did not..

This year has started out with a bang and we are going strong, and telling everyone we can about the joy that comes with Jesus!!!

God Bless,

Greg

National Quartet Convention

We attended the National Quartet Convention on Sept. 14,15 & 16th and had a blast! Although it was a lot of hard work, we had a great time meeting a lot of great people, as well as, some DJs and groups. We played on a showcase on Thursday and one specific for all of Chapel Valley artist on Friday and we were truly honored to be featured with such a great bunch of artist. We feel very fortunate to be with Chapel Valley and we look forward to a lon relationship. We are scheduled to be back in the studio in October and hopefully with Shane Roark’s help this will be our best project with some great messages!! I would like to say that I was sore after NQC, that place definitley wears you out, but the waffle cones are great…..

3rd Annual Singing

I want to thank each and everyone that came out to our 3rd Annual Singing!! Journey Home and the Gibsons were awsome and kicked the night off wonderfully. Everyone said that there was a great spirit there and I would agree. The Diplomats and the Primitive Quartet were great as usual, and we had a special guest, Mr. Les Beasley!! We saw several young people make changes in their lives and it was a great singing!! If you weren’t able to make it, please try to make it next year and keep looking on our website for the latest details.

Another note, Andy Miller our tenor singer is now learning to play bass and is doing a great job, this is due to our previous bass player and singer (Eddie Morgan) has semi-retired for awhile. We really do miss Eddie, and will keep him and Donna in our prayers!! So please cast a prayer up for Andy, any time you are learning a new instrument and singing it is hard and frustrating. We are working on new material and hopefully this year we will come out with a new project. I must go now, but please check back with us for routine updates….

How many years do you think Eddie sang with Lakeside?

God Bless,

Greg Blankenship
